Usage guidance
- Connect the needle to the syringe, remove the cap, then draw up medication from a glass ampoule as required.
- Once medication is prepared and ready for administration, remove the blunt fill needle and dispose of it in a suitable sharps container.
- Do not reuse. Reuse can dull the needle and increase the likelihood of coring and fragmentation.
- Note: the filtered blunt fill needle is not intended for drawing up medications with molecules greater than 5 microns.
