Constructed with a large, durable platform that can hold up to 300kg in weight, a steel handrail for optimum stability and ultrasonic height measurement technology, this measurement system is ideal for use in hospitals and GP surgeries.

The 655-HR-US allows you to connect to digital records wirelessly or via an Ethernet connection. Easily identify patients and send measurement information directly to your EMR system to limit human error, the software guarantees a safe and secure transfer of data.

How does ultrasonic measuring technology work?

3 pairs of sensors emit sound waves at a frequency too high for the human ear, the sensors then wait for the sound to be reflected back, calculating the distance based on the time required. This allows you to accurately measure patients height without needing to make physical contact. Results are available in a matter of seconds.
