NasoSafe Nasopharyngeal Airways are specially designed to be inserted into the nasal passageway to secure an open airway in patients who become unconscious. When a patient becomes unconscious, the muscles in the jaw commonly relax, making it possible for the tongue to slip back and obstruct the airway.

The NasoSafe unique design includes a swivel safety grip that eliminates the risk of the airway travelling down the nasal passage, whilst remaining comfortable for the patient.

Available in 4 sizes, including 6mm, 7mm, 8mm & 9mm making these suitable for a range of patients. Each size is distinctly colour-coded so that you can easily identify the correct size in an emergency situation.

The unique swivel grip allows for easy rotation. NasoSafe Nasopharyngeal Airways are ideal for use when the oral passage is not accessible.

The NasoSafe is best inserted when the patient is in the supine position. The airway should be lubricated with a water-soluble lubricant prior to insertion.
