Klinion® Kliniderm® Foam Dressings are soft, sterile polyurethane foam dressings supplied in packs of 10 for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds. The hydrophilic foam pad and breathable film backing help maintain a moist wound environment while providing a waterproof, bacteria resistant barrier. Designed as non adhesive dressings, they are suitable for use under compression bandaging with appropriate secondary fixation.
Ideal for use by nurses and clinicians in hospitals, community care and outpatient settings, Kliniderm Foam Dressings offer reliable exudate management, patient comfort and flexible sizing options to suit a wide range of wound types.
- Hydrophilic polyurethane foam pad absorbs and retains exudate while supporting a moist wound environment that promotes healing in moderate to heavily exuding wounds.
- Waterproof, moisture vapour permeable backing made from polyurethane film helps prevent external contamination and provides a bacterial barrier, while allowing excess moisture to evaporate to reduce the risk of maceration.
- Non adhesive dressing with a smooth contact surface that does not adhere to the wound bed, helping to minimise trauma and discomfort at dressing changes when removed with suitable technique.
- Suitable for use under compression so the same dressing can be used within leg ulcer treatment regimens where compression bandaging is clinically indicated.
- Versatile indications including pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, lacerations, abrasions, post operative surgical wounds and superficial or partial thickness burns, as assessed by a healthcare professional.
- Extended wear time of up to 7 days, depending on wound condition and exudate level, helps reduce unnecessary dressing changes and supports efficient use of clinical time.
- Protects the periwound skin by drawing exudate vertically into the foam away from surrounding tissue, helping to lower the risk of moisture related skin damage when monitored and changed appropriately.
- Clinically evaluated in independent practice based studies, where clinicians rated Kliniderm foam highly for comfort on application and removal, conformability and exudate handling across a range of chronic wounds.
- Range of sizes and formats allowing dressings to be selected or cut to fit different anatomical sites and hard to dress areas.
- Latex and DEHP free to reduce the risk of reactions in patients with sensitivities to natural rubber latex or plasticisers.
- Sterile, single use medical device supplied in individual packs to support infection prevention and good wound care practice.
