3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film 28ml Spray is an alcohol free liquid barrier film that forms a gentle, transparent coating on the skin. It is designed to protect intact or damaged skin from bodily fluids, friction and adhesive trauma for prolonged periods, supporting safe, comfortable skin care in continence, wound and stoma management.

The fast drying spray delivers an even, breathable film that does not sting on application, making it suitable for fragile, sensitive or broken skin. It is hypoallergenic and non cytotoxic, so it can be used as part of evidence based protocols to help prevent moisture associated skin damage and medical adhesive related skin injury around dressings and devices.

  • Alcohol free no sting barrier film that protects intact or compromised skin from body fluids, friction and adhesive trauma.
  • Unique terpolymer based formulation that forms a breathable, waterproof and transparent coating, allowing ongoing inspection of at risk areas.
  • Provides long lasting protection for up to 72 hours, helping to reduce the frequency of reapplication and support cost effective care.
  • Hypoallergenic and non cytotoxic, suitable for use on sore or damaged skin and across age groups including infants and older adults.
  • Compatible with chlorhexidine gluconate and povidone iodine, so it can be used alongside common antiseptics and under many wound and IV dressings.
  • Does not affect the absorbency of continence pads or briefs, supporting management of incontinence associated dermatitis without compromising absorbent products.
  • Convenient 28 ml spray bottle that delivers a light, even layer to larger or awkward areas, reducing the need for direct skin contact.
  • Suitable for periwound and peristomal skin protection, incontinence associated dermatitis, pressure areas at risk from friction, and skin under medical tapes, dressings and securement devices.
