OptiLube Active prefilled syringes contain sterile lubricant gel that is designed for use on patients during urethral catheterisation.
Containing a local anaesthetic (Lidocaine 2%) and antiseptic (Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.05%) to dilate and lubricate the urethral to allow clinicians to easily insert the catheter whilst minimising pain and discomfort for the patient.
Each syringe is presented in a protective & sterile blister pack which is designed to allow the syringe to easily come away without the need to touch unnecessarily.
The rounded tip ensures the patient feels minimal discomfort during insertion and urethral catheterisation.
