Melolin sterile dressings are a low-adherent absorbent dressing with a triple-layer consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate film, absorbent material, and cellulose fabric.
Suitable for dressing dry sutured wounds, superficial cuts and abrasions and lightly exuding lesions.
May be used as a primary wound contact layer in heavily exuding wounds if backed by a second absorbent dressing.
