Greengard Biodegradable Aprons | Roll of 200
The Greengard Biodegradable Plastic Aprons are powered by d2w technology which accelerates the natural oxidisation process until the product is no longer plastic, the resulting product is bio-assimilated (i.e. used as a food source) by bacteria and fungi on land or in the sea.
Unlike standard plastics which can take several hundred years to decompose, the Greengard Biodegradable aprons degrade by 85% within the first 100 days of disposal in the presence of oxygen.
Greengard aprons comply with ASTM 6954 and other international standards on degradability, biodegradability, and non-eco-toxicity. They are also the first to gain SASO and ESMA approval.
Supplied in 100% recyclable packaging.
How does it work?
It is an additive that contains a mixture of salts that is added to the raw plastic during the manufacturing process. It will degrade over an accelerated time period in the presence of oxygen.
