Ultrasonic cleaning using an Ultrawave bath is standard practice in the primary healthcare sector.
Designed to conform to current standards of decontamination, the new Hygea combines Ultrawave performance and reliability with full process validation and a fantastic new look.
Process Validation
The integrated process validation and printout provide a permanent record for every cleaning cycle including:
- Date and time
- Location
- Serial number
- Unique cycle number
- All process parameters
Sensors for fluid level, temperature and ultrasonic activity provide full validation of the cleaning cycle, which can take as little as six minutes to clean up to three trays of instruments. Onec complete, the trays can be transferred directly into an autoclave, further reducing manual handling.
Auto Lock Lid
The Hygea is designed with an electromagnetic lock so that the unit cannot be opened during the cleaning cycle.
- Instruments cannot be removed before the end of the cleaning cycle.
- Operators are protected from possible aerosol inhalation
