Burnshield Hydrogel Spray
Burnshield Hydrogel Burn Gel is ideal for the quick treatment of burns, scalds and sunburn.
Burnshield Hydrogel has been specially designed to treat burns of any degree by lowering the skin temperature and stopping the burn from progressing through healthy tissue. Burnshield Gel contains tea tree oil which is a naturally occurring antiseptic, helping to fight off and prevent infection.
Burnshield has been used by emergency services for many years as a tried and trusted burns treatment range, Hydrogel creates a cooling gel barrier that soothes the skin and reduces the chance of long-term effects and scaring.
How it works
Burnshield Hydrogel burn gel contains 96% water, Melaleuca Alt. (Tea Tree) Oil and Gelling Agent which absorbs and dissipates heat, reducing the skin temperature and stopping the burn from progressing to healthy tissue. The gel rehydrates the burn to aid the healing process.
Directions for use
- Apply liberally to burns, scalds, and sunburn for instant, cooling relief.
- Reapply as and when required to reduce pain and cool the wound.
- It is recommended to lightly apply a non-absorbent dressing to secure the gel to the wound area.
Burn wounds should be kept moist/wet to aid the recovery process. If pain and heat persist seek medical attention.
